Welcome to the Village of Elmwood Place!  

A northern suburb of Cincinnati with the advantages of a small town in the Greater Cincinnati area. It is a 118 year-old community with 2,600 residents. Conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown, west of I-75 in the Millcreek Valley. It is surrounded by the city of Cincinnati neighborhoods of Winton Place (west), Carthage (north), and Bond Hill (east), and the City of St. Bernard in the south.

The village is a walkable community with a neighborhood business district, a library, places of worship and parks to play.

Village Update:

• Next Mayor's Court will be Wednesday July 2nd at 5:30pm at 5:30pm in the Town Hall
  
• Next Council meeting will be Tuesday July 8th at 7:00pm in the Town Hall
  
• The new banners that have been designed as a part of our village improvement program are being attached to the designated utility poles on Vine Street and Township Ave. The banners were created by the art students at the St. Bernard-Elmwood Pl. High School under the guidance of their Art Instructor Nancy Anderson and artist- in- residence Carol Newsome from Northside, and were paid for by grants from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Fine Arts Fund, plus some school district funds. The art work is based on historical recollections recorded by Mildred Schulze in her history of Elmwood Place "Elm Tree Days". Miss Schulze was a long time librarian at our local branch library. • Additional beautification will be underway in the very near future as we finalize the landscaping plans for our Town Hall and the gateways entering the village. Omaha Paper has been doing renovation of their property on Vine St. and Township Ave. which will culminate in extensive landscaping.
